The Zeke Endowment at the Cooper Union

Beyond serving the students and faculty of the Cooper Union the ambition of the Zeke Endowment is to bring a new and disruptive energy to the architectural “Scene” of New York, which in the past was embodied by the cast of characters that called the School of Architecture home.

Formed in 2022 the Zeke Endowment will support academic initiatives at the Cooper Union that help advance critical thinking in relation to the fields of writing philosophy and music. Named in memory of Zeke Reiser, whose many passions included these three important disciplines, the endowment will foster greater connection between the humanities and design through the creation of lectures, classes, workshops, and symposia.

We hope that the public supports the Zeke Endowment through donation and the purchase of limited edition art created by Reiser+Umemoto ranging from prints and books to the elaborate Taipei Music Center Box Set.
