• Westhampton Beach, NY—Looking to escape the tedium of city life, the owners of this once 1920’s Hollywood style mansion sought to transform it into a respite for themselves, their children, and their growing families. Led by principal Debora K. Reiser, the resulting home is distinguishingly clean, warm, and uplifting, as achieved through a simplified floorplan, multiple skylights, and playful punctuations of color as seen from both inside and outside. The addition of a new children’s wing to the home, including four second-floor bedrooms, reclaims a porch below as a new sunroom, its retained brick-flooring complementing the expansive green lawn surrounding it on three sides.
